Championships CP (For each age division)
The Pokémon TCG Regional Championships have a Best Finish Limit of 8. This is the maximum number of scores that will count for this level of event, with higher-scoring placements replacing lower finishes.
The Championship Point payout for the Pokémon TCG Regional Championships remains unchanged from the 2016 Championship Series season.

What are the prizes?
Prizes are awarded to the top players in each of three age divisions. Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached, and must have opted in to the Play! Pokémon program in order to earn points and awards.
For the Pokémon TCG and Video Game Regional Championships, the format of each prize is dependent on the age of the recipient.
Here are the Regionals prizes for the 2017 Play! Pokémon Championship Series season.
18 years of age and older:
1st & 2nd place: Choice of scholarship or cash
Top finishers in 3rd place or lower: Cash
Under 18 years of age:
1st & 2nd place: Choice of scholarship or travel certificate
Top finishers in 3rd place or lower: Travel certificate

Prizes are based on attendance per age division. All prizes are paid in US dollars and subject to applicable tax withholding. Prize winners should consult a qualified tax professional regarding their tax obligations. Prizes and prize distribution may be subject to change.

Pokémon TCG Regional Championships with age division attendance of fewer than 17 players will not receive prize money.

Additionally, the top 64 Pokémon TCG players will receive Pokémon TCG booster packs, regardless of attendance.
